- I designed this as a creative playground for experimenting with new ideas and technologies.
- My previous site (created back in college) was great for the time but didn’t support the customizations I wanted for my current projects and aesthetic.

As of December 13, 2019, I’m proud to say I’m a Boston University alum!

These years have been filled with incredible memories—from living in [StuVi2](https://www.bu.edu/housing/residences/stuvi2/) to late-night study sessions and exploring Boston with some truly inspiring friends. It wasn’t always easy—balancing challenging courses, adapting during changing times, and navigating the infamous Boston winters—but it was all worth it, and I couldn’t have asked for a better college experience.

I’m grateful for the opportunities I had to learn, build, and grow, both in and outside the classroom. As I transitioned to full-time work, I was excited to apply everything I learned at BU to new challenges and opportunities.

After years of hard work, I'm thrilled to officially call myself a Boston University alum! From unforgettable memories in StuVi2 to the incredible friends I’ve made, it's been an amazing journey.

Officially a Boston University Alumnus


From January to June 2018, I worked on the [Abeona Project](https://www.bu.edu/pardeeschool/files/2017/10/Human-Trafficking-Migration-Workshop-Information3.pdf) at Boston University’s Pardee School, an initiative focused on improving safety for unaccompanied refugee minors. This project allowed me to contribute to a meaningful cause while honing my technical and project management skills in a collaborative environment.

As part of the Abeona team, I developed a user-friendly tracking system that organizations could use to monitor at-risk youth, helping reduce the risks of human trafficking and streamline resource allocation. I worked across the tech stack, building both front-end and back-end components with Java and Android Studio to ensure reliability and intuitive design.

### Technical and Professional Growth

Beyond technical skills, this project underscored the importance of clear communication and user-centered design. Collaborating with Pardee School faculty and team members, I gathered feedback from stakeholders to integrate into our design, ensuring the app met the practical needs of its users in high-stakes situations.

Though much of our work was remote, I had the chance to occasionally meet and collaborate in person, enriching our team dynamic and allowing me to connect directly with experts in humanitarian tech solutions.

### Looking Forward

The Abeona Project was a pivotal experience that reinforced my commitment to using technology for social impact. I’m proud to know that our work will continue supporting organizations dedicated to helping vulnerable populations. This project not only strengthened my full-stack development skills but also taught me valuable lessons in sustainable development and user-centered design.
